The Square portable vaporizer is a brand new device from Haze. This compact and unique unit offers four separate and different chambers that let you vape dry herbs, oils, waxes and e-liquids. The Square lives up to its name, looking almost like a half-sized baseball card. With this unit, it’s hip to be square. But, with a price tag of around $350, the Haze Square isn’t exactly the cheapest vape you can buy. Is the cost worth it for the Haze Square? Is it the vaporizer for you? Read on to find out more.

Haze Square Battery Life

The Haze Square portable vaporizer comes with an impressive 2600mAH battery that lasts about two full hours of continuous use and takes 3-4 hours to fully charge. A micro-USB charger is included, and so is a wall charger. This unit is heated up and ready to vape at only around 5-6 seconds, which is a significant advantage over the majority of other vapes on the market today.

With a similar battery, but 1.5 hour charge times, the more modern G Pen Elite 2 takes the cake in this category.

How to use the Haze Square Vaporizer?

The Square comes with metal mouthpieces. Metal mouthpieces are a good choice instead of glass for when you’re engaging in high-impact activities like mountain biking because carrying around pieces of glass while doing those things can be dangerous. The device is very quick and simple to disassemble, which makes cleaning fairly easy.

Just connect one of the mouthpieces into the unit, pick one of the four chambers by rotating the chamber over the heating element, depending on what you’re toking on, press the button to select your temp, and you’re good to go with instant heating. You can either load the material tray or plan ahead and load each individual pod separately, which will last you all day. The LED on this device is big, colorful and easy to read.

Haze Square Temperature Settings

The temperature range is from 340-450 degrees Fahrenheit. Lights will go off indicating you’re at your preferred temperature. Lights also indicate when it’s time to charge. You will have a pretty good idea of how many hits you have left with the lighting and haptic feedback on the Square. The Haze is equipped with an auto-shut off feature, which is pretty standard with most portable vaporizers these days. This device also has smart temperature features that will remember what your last preset was, which is a nice feature.

Haze Square Vapor Quality

Since the Haze Square is such a new portable vaporizer, we don’t have a ton of feedback on the vapor quality of the device. But from what we’ve seen initially, the convection heating of the Haze, along with the ceramic chamber and glass mouthpiece deliver tasty, high quality vapor that never quite competed with the best dry herb vapes. While the aluminum alloy finish on this unit might turn off some users, it does not diminish the vapor quality whatsoever – nor does it make the unit flimsy or fragile.

What Comes With the Haze Square?

Right out of the box, the Haze Square portable vaporizer comes with four different pods that let you pack any material of your choice. It also comes with two concentrate pads that are made of steel, two lids that are made from silicone, one mouthpiece and a wall charger. The mouthpiece that comes with the device is usually metal, but you can obviously buy glass ones. The Haze also comes with a standard cleaning tool and fill device, and obviously a user’s manual.

The Haze Square similar to Pax Plus also carries with it a very impressive warranty of 10-years, which is better than the majority of portable vaporizers on the market today. 10-year warranty is a big selling point and helps justify the hefty price tag off this model.

The Haze Square is setting itself up to be one of the most versatile and stealthiest portable vaporizers on the market today. The fast heat up time, extremely compact nature of this device coupled with the four different chambers really sets this unit apart from the rest. With a price tag of around $350, you will be paying for the superior options and features. Are these extra options worth the extra money? You have to be the judge of that.
