The Vapir Prima is a portable vaporizer for use with both dry herbs and extracts. As far as price range, the Prima is a bit under the top shelf, premium vapes on the market today, but is an upgrade over entry models.  Is it the perfect portable vaporizer for you and your needs? Read on to find out more, and answer that question for yourself.

Vapir Prima Battery Life

The Vapir Prima portable vaporizer comes with a battery that is made from lithium-ion and can be replaced if need be. It clocks in at an impressive 3200mhA and 3.6v. It is charged using the included charging station. The unit takes about an hour and a half to fully charge itself up – that is about average for its class. The Prima lasts up to five full sessions, or about 70 minutes of continuous usage (depending on what heat settings you use, of course) and that is above average.

  • For a similar battery life on a more modern device, you might consider the XMAX V3 Pro.

How to use the Vapir Prima?

The Prima from Vapir is noticeably compact and small, making it a prime candidate for those who highly value discreet, on-the-go tokes. It looks stylish and cool, yet it is functional and built to last. The Prima will no doubt fit comfortably even in the smallest of palms. Some vaporizers don’t deliver the best vapor quality when it comes to extracts, but the Prima definitely excels in this area with tasty vapor clouds. The Prima has four different settings for temperature choices depending on how you like to vape. The first setting is from around 176 to 183 degrees Celsius, the second is approximately 185 to 191 degrees Celsius, the third is about 193 to 198 degrees Celsius, and the fourth level is around 199 to 205 degrees Celsius. The vapor path made from stainless steel does help you keep your vapor as cool as possible, but it can pose an issue from some users – especially newbies who are unaware of how hot it gets. The steel can definitely burn you after a full session if you’re not careful, so make sure you keep that in mind. This usually isn’t an issue for most users who understand how vaporizers work, but we would have maybe liked to see some kind of rubber or something around the metal bottom to prevent minor burns.

  • For a more modern device that uses preset temperatures, consider the new Zeus Arc GTS, which comes with a lot of included accessories like dosing capsules.

Vapir Prima Vaporizer Chamber

The build quality on the Prima is high, as is its portability and ability to be discreet. You can easily conceal the unit in your hand for quick tokes just about anywhere you are, and if you cup it well enough, most people won’t notice the lights even if it’s dark out. Even on the highest settings, the Prima doesn’t deliver the thickest clouds you’ll find with a portable unit – but for most users, that’s not much of a problem at all, because just about every toke is tasty and it does the trick. The fact that the Prima doesn’t deliver thick clouds also adds to its discreetness, because there are not a lot of huge, thick vapor clouds for prying eyes to notice, and the smell is usually kept to a minimum.

Vapir Prima Vapor Quality

As we said, the vapor production on the Vapir Prima isn’t the best portable vaporizer in the game, mostly because of its relatively limited temperature settings. Again, this isn’t a deal breaker for most users who like their Prima models, because the flavor quality and pureness of the hits that are delivered by the device are top-notch. The majority of Vapir Prima owners we’ve talked to seem to really like their unit, and one of the main reasons they do is because of the delicious flavor of the vapor quality and its portability and discreet nature.

What’s in the Vapir Prima kit?

The Prima definitely comes with an impressive amount of Vaporizer accessories. When you open the box, you’ll get two screens, two pads for consuming concentrates, one plug brush, one scooper device for filling up the unit, one tool for cleaning purposes, and one cap sleeve made from silicone. Obviously the unit comes with the standard USB charge cable, but it also comes with an external base for charging and a power supply. You can choose between four different colors for your Vapir Prima – black, blue, orange or silver. The device is also backed by a solid five year warranty from the Vapir manufacturers.
