VapirRise Vaporizer Review

The VapirRise is a Desktop Vaporizer that vapes either dry herbs, concentrates or be used as an aromatherapy device for essential oils. The updated version, the VapirRise 2.0, has some notable upgrades over the original model, but also features some changes that users weren’t super happy about. Is the price worth it and justified for the VapirRise? We will put out the facts and you can decide!

How to use the VapirRise?

The VapirRise is not the easiest Vaporizer on the market to take out of the box and start using because of all of its moving parts. This can sometimes frustrate and confuse a newbie, but most users get the hang of everything after a session or two, and realize that all of its components do help increase efficiency and overall experience. Once you’ve got everything figured out and set up, operating the device is actually straightforward and simple. You have temperature controls on the left side and fan controls on the other side. In the middle is the heat button. This is not complicated at all.

Since the VapirRise is a desktop vaporizer, there is obviously no battery life to talk about, since you just plug the device directly into an outlet for use.

The VapirRise uses a high quality air filter certified by HEPA and features a heating chamber made from ceramic. The HEPA air filter is a feature that most users would probably overlook, but it actually helps with vapor quality quite a bit and is an addition to the Rise that you don’t see in most other desktop vaporizers.

Its convection heating delivers solid hits whether you’re using the whip, or the balloon. A nice feature that came along with the upgraded 2.0 Rise is the fact that you can turn the fan off while vaping. This is a noticeable improvement on the last model, because needing to leave the fan on while taking rips definitely cuts down on the efficiency of the device. Without having to keep the fan on, you have much less wasted vapor that would otherwise be blown out of the device by the fan while you’re not taking a hit.

We were pleased with the multi-user option on this device. It might sound gimmicky at first, especially since the VapirRise looks like a small hookah with all four hoses attached. But when we tried it, it performed surprisingly well for four people. There was very little noticeable drop off in vapor production or quality compared to using the device the other ways. The Rise has a good temperature range, and is able to get as hot as 215 degrees Celsius.

Vapor Quality on the VapirRise

The VaporRise produces dense vapor clouds and excels in the production category. The vapor quality is not terrible, but it is only decent. It’s definitely on par with less expensive desktop vaporizers like it, but there are no doubt units on the market today that produce tastier and more flavorful vapor. The Vapir excels when it comes to vaping dry herbs. Where you might see a drop off in your quality vaporization experience is when it comes to vaporizing certain types of concentrates. Depending on the consistency of your extracts or concentrates you decide to vape with the Rise, you might experience a drop off in cloud density in comparison to its performance with dry herbs. It all depends on what type of concentrate you have to vape. You will have to experiment with the device and decide for yourself how you feel about it. Some users don’t think there is much of difference, while others report a noticeable degradation in cloud density. For what it is, we were not disappointed with the overall vapor quality of the Rise, and were pleasantly surprised when it came to the even vapor distribution between four users.

As it’s so outdated these days, we can recommend just picking up an Arizer XQ2.

What’s in the VapirRise kit?

This unit comes with an impressive amount of accessories. In addition to the device itself and the power cord, you get three balloons and four silicone tubes. Inside of the accessory box, you’ll find a hot grabber, a hot grabber, a dry herb and oil chamber, mouthpieces, a cleaning brush and both single use and multiuser adapters. The Rise comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty, which isn’t the best, but could also be worse.

• A bit of a learning curve when getting started, especially for newbies
• The balloon adapter that the original model used has been replaced by the whip filling up the balloon instead
• Struggles to vaporize specific oils efficiently
• Vapor quality is decent, but average
