What are wax pens and what are they used for?
Wax pens consist of a battery, an atomizer, and a mouthpiece.
The battery powers the device and can be recharged with a USB cable. The atomizer contains reloadable and replaceable coils that heat up the concentrate and produce vapor. The mouthpiece is where you inhale the vapor from.
Wax pens are also known as shatter pens, dab pens, and concentrate pens, but they all mean the same thing.
Who is a wax pen for?
Dab pens are mainly for cannabis connoisseurs who appreciate the quality and variety of concentrates.
They may not be as suited for beginners who are not familiar with the effects and potency of concentrates or who prefer dry herbs or oils.

Different types of wax pens
There are two main types of wax pen atomizers that include an exposed coil, and a dish coil atomizer.
An exposed coil dab pen has one or more coils wrapped around a rod. The coils are visible and come in direct contact with the concentrate. An exposed coil dab pen can produce more heat and vapor, resulting in bigger clouds and more potent hits.
A dish coil is a flat surface that heats your dab a bit slower. A dish coil dab pen can produce less heat and vapor, resulting in smoother and more flavorful hits.
Wax pen vs Vape pen
The difference between a wax pen and a Vape Pen is mainly in the type of material they can vaporize and the way they work.
A wax pen is a type of vaporizer that allows you to load and vape concentrated forms of THC, while a vape pen is a type of vaporizer that allows you to vape pre-filled cartridges that also use vegetable glycerin as cutters.
