Louis I just got the Utillian 5v4 and found the taste is not what I wanted, everything tastes burnt. Wondering if there is a way to get the 6 glass chamber and mouthpiece to fit my 5v4? |
| Answer: Hi Louis, The Utillian 6 glass chamber and mouthpiece will not fit the Utillian 5 V4. They are built as completely different devices, so their parts are not compatible with each other. If the vapor from your Utillian 5 V4 tastes burnt, it is often because the temperature is set too high. Try lowering the voltage to 2.2V, which is the first LED light out of the four next to the button. Lower temperatures usually give a smoother flavor and reduce the harsh burnt taste. You can also take shorter pulses instead of holding the button for too long. This helps prevent overheating the concentrate. If you still find the vapor a bit harsh, you could also try using the Utillian Bubbler. It adds water filtration, which cools the vapor and makes your dabs much smoother and easier on the throat. Unless you take small dabs then it wastes quite a bit of oil even on max setting. If you try heating the chamber with the leftover oil a second time it tastes super burnt.
The Utillian 6 no longer comes with 5mm terp pearls, it now comes with 2mm pearls. For the casual dabber is fine but id return it if I could.
Flavor is pretty good and the chamber is easy to clean. Battery life is fine but it overheats if you hit it 4ish times quickly. Storage container on the bottom is more convient than I expected.
