The Utillian 620 Convection Helix is located under the chamber and made of aluminum. It is designed to accelerate the heat-up time of the hot air before reaching the chamber. This Convection Helix is the identical part that’s included with the 620 and made by Utillian.
Utillian 620 Helix Maintenance
On the bottom of the 620, you’ll be able to lift a slide to access the helix. Soaking it in isopropyl alcohol for twenty minutes followed by a hot water rinse off will be able to remove most grime and resin from normal usage.
