Is the Dani Vape worth it?

Another butane-style, battery-free Vaporizer in the market with the most deliberate name of all time – The Dani Vape by Batteryfreeganz.

You might be thinking, well that seems a little aggressive to DynaVap, and that’s because it is. Anyways, this company out of Vietnam has basically released their rendition of what they think works best in that style and the results seem to be improved with their newest 3rd version. As the device is getting more traction these days, we figure it’s just about time to give you a quick summary of how it works and what to expect if you pick one up for yourself. Is it better than the DynaVap M Plus or the Vestratto Anvil – Let’s get into it and see what this thing is all about.

DaniVape Key Features

  • Proudly designed and manufactured in Vietnam
  • Made from high-quality materials including medical-grade steel, titanium, silver, glass, and wood
  • Always seeking to improve
  • Much more affordable than the Vestratto Anvil
  • Heat click system

It uses a click

Similar to the ‘brass battery’ on the Vestratto Anvil, or the FMJ for DynaVaps, the Dani uses a 99% thermal silver ring on the outside of the chamber to retain heat.

  • They describe it as an air-fryer style of convection / conduction heating system, which is very interesting.

Similar to the other butane vaporizers on the market, it will work by holding a torch to the chamber end of the vape for a few seconds. The chamber is threaded onto the body and will hold approximately 0.2g which will be good for two to three high-quality hits. There is one air choke to control on the body of the vape, which you can use to help control airflow as well.

  • Once you’ve loaded the chamber, you’ll notice some airholes on it. The air comes in through these, up through the thread, and then up into the chamber and airpath which is where you’ll get your convection side of the extraction from.

Is it portable?

The Dani Vape is just a bit longer than the M models of the DynaVap, with the mouthpiece being made to work with 14mm bongs and a bubbler. Since the chamber uses three O-rings for a seal on the body, you’ll be easily able to swap out different bodies that you want to try. There are too many to list, but some popular ones so far include include glass and acid-washed metals.

Dani Vape Vapor Quality

Similar to the Vestratto, the thermal battery does a good job at getting the most out of the smaller chamber by retaining heat better than less conductive metals. This means that you’ll be able to take longer drags through your bongs and bubblers. Your vapor is going to be super milky, especially if you’re using the choke for more concentrated vapor.

* For more flavor, also consider the The Dani Fusion model.

DaniVape V3 Improvements

The previous version known as the V2 used more O-Ring connections, whereas the current version, the V3, uses a threaded body which overall makes more sense. Across the board, there were a lot of other small improvements to the general design similar to what the DynaVap does with their releases. It was nice to see them listen to community feedback, and their website credits the FuckCombustion as a source for information on the unit as well.

Is it easy to use?

Based on the general community consensus, the Dani seems to be designed to click at an overall lower temperature than the Anvil and DynaVap, so people often recommend heating up to five or more seconds past the initial click for best results.

  • Since the chamber lid / silver thermal battery is threaded on, it’s a bit more difficult to reload so you’ll have to use a leather sleeve to unscrew the chamber for back-to-back hits.

The good thing is that the V3 version has slightly sharper teeth on the chamber’s end, so you’ll be able to use it like a cookie cutter on your herb like you would with a DynaStash / DynaVap combo.

How to clean the Dani Vape?

Excluding the wooden model, your best bet for cleaning will be to use an alcohol-free based solution like the Zeus Purify Cleaning Kit so that you can just soak individual parts without having to worry about taking off the O-Rings. Afterward, just rinse it off with hot water and wait for it to dry before reassembling.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, the DaniVape is performing very well given the flak it got for literally stealing DynaVap’s name and design. So far it doesn’t really outshine the DynaVap M 2021, it’s just a similar style to the DynaVap Omni and Anvil to me. Given it’s still in its early days, it will be very interesting to see if Battery Free Ganz the manufacturer can continue to improve!
