How to set up the atomizers

To set your Omegatron up with an atomizer, you’ll start by removing the vapor cup and threading it on either the Triple Helix or Glass Core heating element.

Once you’ve loaded in your dab, place the atomizer cap on top, followed by the cover disc to seal the vapor in.

From there, just push down on the glass to begin filling up your cup!

How to set up a cartridge

When using your Omegatron with a 510 Thread Vape Cartridge, you can thread it into the base before turning the unit on and selecting your voltage. Just a heads up that I found that cartridges filled the cup in less than five seconds, which was much faster than the atomizers.

Tasty and Smooth Vapor!

The thing that surprised me most about the Tronian Omegatron’s vapor quality was how incredibly smooth it was.

Each of the four voltages had a different type of performance, and allows you to choose how you want your vapor to be:

• Teal– 2.8 volts – Slow to heat up, excellent flavor
• Yellow – 3.2 volts – Good flavor
• Orange – 3.6 volts – Mainly thick cloud production, some flavor
• Red – 4 volts – Thick white vapor with less flavor

Similar to how the Puffco Proxy dry dabs in its glass pipe design, with the Omegatron you won’t be losing any terpenes through water filtration, which means the flavor will always be a cut above. Because you don’t hit your vapor right away like on a 510 battery, there’s also more time for the vapor to cool down, especially if you just have a sip at a time.

Not once during my testing did I cough from my Banana RNTZ Cartridge or the wax I was using on both atomizers!

Triple Helix Heating Element Performance

With the triple rod quartz atomizer, you’ll get performance similar to a Wax Pen but will lose out on some of your dab’s terpene flavors because of the exposed coils.

The Triple Helix Heating Element was the faster of the two atomizers in terms of heating up and filling the vapor cup. Because of the exposed coil design, you will lose out on some flavor, so I’d suggest using the lower voltages with it to make sure that you get the best experience.

Glass Core Heating Element Performance

The glass mesh allows for your dabs to slowly melt into the porous material for better overall taste, but a slower heating time.

The Glass Core heating element has a porous glass surface with a smaller surface area than the triple rod and is slower to heat and produce vapor. It does have better flavor, but it’ll be harder to maintain in the long run as dabs slowly get cooked into its surface.

For heavy users, I would suggest soaking it in isopropyl every few days for twenty minutes to remove any leftover gunk from burning into the glass. By cleaning it often, you’ll have better flavor in the long run, and it will have a better lifespan.

Portability Review

The Tronian Omegatron is better off left at home, as any sort of wind will blow vapor out of the cup and ruin the experience.

One place where I see Vapor Cups like the Omegatron and Pulsar Sipper shining is at parties. Being able to easily refill the glass cup is such a convenient feature, as well as being able to carry it from room to room. • Swish the glass around with some Orange Chronic once a week or so when you begin to notice the glass isn’t clear anymore
