Boundless CFC 2.0 Kit
This device comes with a water pipe adapter, a USB charging cable, a brush for cleaning, a tool for stirring your dry herbs, two screens for the oven and three for the mouthpiece, as well as an owner’s manual. This is a good amount of accessories, and the CFC 2.0 also features a 3-year warranty on the device as well as a 90-day warranty on the battery.
Precise Conduction Oven
The CFC 2.0 uses conduction heating and has a ceramic chamber that can fit up to half of a gram of dry herbs. For a device that is considered a budget vape, we were pretty impressed with the size of the chamber. The Boundless CFC dry herb vaporizer has a wide temperature range of 60 – 230°C / 140 – 446°F. The device takes about 40-45 seconds to heat up to the highest temperature, which is pretty good for a budget unit. While you can choose to use lower temperatures if you want flavorful hits, we find that taking draws on any setting below about 210°C will produce thin clouds that are kind of weak and wispy.
Excellent Vapor Quality
Despite the fact that the Boundless CFC 2.0 pocket vaporizer is made mostly of plastic, the isolated airpath produces some tasty rips. There are airflow holes located at the back of the device that you can cover up if you want some extra draw resistance with your hits. Since the Boundless CFC 2.0 mouthpiece is made of plastic, it will get pretty warm towards the end of a session. However, using the water pipe adapter will definitely help to cool down the vapor especially when paired with any universal 14mm bubbler. The CFC 2.0 doesn’t produce the thickest clouds, especially on low settings – but the vapor production is decent enough on the high settings.
Easy to use
The Boundless CFC 2.0 pocket vaporizer is really easy to use. Pressing the power button 5 times turns the unit on or off, and the temperature control buttons are located right next to the power button. You just pop off the mouthpiece to reveal the chamber, pack your dry herbs, and you’re good to go.
Hour of battery life
The Boundless CFC 2.0 battery is proprietary, and is only 1200mAh but the device lasts about a solid hour of continuous usage, which amounts to around 7 full sessions on a single charge. The unit takes about 3 hours to charge, which is on the higher side, but at least it does feature pass-through charging.
- While the battery life is slightly above average, if you’re looking for a device with a really long-lasting battery, check out the Arizer Air MAX.
Cheap build quality?
The Boundless CFC 2.0 Vape is made almost entirely from plastic, except for the ceramic heating chamber. Even though it is plastic, it doesn’t feel too cheaply made, and it is durable enough to survive a few drops. The ridges on the side of the vape feel pretty good in your hand while holding it as well. The Boundless CFC 2.0 pocket vaporizer isn’t terrible looking, but we do think that the similarly priced Vapium Lite looks a bit better.
Super portable
At just five inches tall and weighing only a quarter pound, the Boundless CFC 2.0 is a highly portable vaporizer and fits easily in your palm. The plastic build does make it lightweight. The device can get a bit smelly if you don’t clean it enough, which can draw some unwanted attention. We highly recommend cleaning out the chamber after each and every session, to help reduce the amount of odor that tends to be noticeable.
Cleaning the mouthpiece
Keeping your Boundless CFC 2.0 clean is about as easy as it is to operate, as there are only a few removable pieces that require cleaning. Remove the mouthpiece and give the chamber a thorough brushing after every session or two. Remove the silicone compartment that holds in the screen and give those parts a good brushing as well. You’ll want to take some Q-Tips dipped in isopropyl alcohol to the entire device after about 2 or 3 sessions. If you neglected to clean any vape you own, consider checking out the Zeus Purify Cleaning Kit to remove that tough build up and grime.
Who’s the Boundless CFC 2.0 for?
The Boundless CFC 2.0 would be a great entry point for anyone that is just getting into weed vaporizers. It will allow you test a lot of different setups with the WPA and any vape bubblers and bongs you pick up. If you don’t mind the long charge time, there is a lot to love about the portability and easy maintenance for the super low price tag.
Who’s the Boundless CFC 2.0 not for?
The 2.0 is definitely not for anyone looking for an all-inclusive kit like the Zeus ARC GTS provides thanks to its 15 included dosing capsules and intuitive Xtruder grinder setup. It’s simply a barebones kit that will give you a feel for what you like or don’t like for when you upgrade to a premium unit later down the road.
Pros
- Discreet design
- Easy to use screen
- Large ceramic oven
- Pass through charging
- Included bong adapter
Cons
- No dab compatibility
- Looks incredibly cheap
- 3 hour charge time
- Normal mouthpiece slightly awkward to use
Final thoughts
The Boundless CFC dry herb vaporizer has a lot of good features, like precision temperature controls, decent vapor quality, portability, an isolated air path, a large chamber size, and a water pipe adapter.
We would have liked to see the unit come with a little bit less plastic though, and maybe a glass mouthpiece, but that’s just our opinion.
The Pax Mini costs a little bit less, is similar to the appearance of the CFC 2.0, and the build quality is a bit better. Both devices perform about the same in terms of vapor quality – even though the Boundless CFC 2.0 does have precision controls, while the APX does not. The CFC 2.0 is a great starter vape for someone who is new to the vaporizer world.

Good vape fits lots of weed inside I think it’s a really good unit. Gets me n my gf really stoned and we go to bars with it all the time. The taste is kinda bad at highest temp but also gets us the most stoned so your call if its good or nah.
How do clean the boundless cfc 2.0?? I have one but cannot get it cleaned after a few times I use water n soap and that doesn’t work too well. Thanks
try cleaning it using isopropyl alcohol, q-tips and paper towels. Works like a charm.
Solid little device, but it isn’t really all too terrific. I bought it as my first dry herb vaporizer and while I think this a good little unit. I bought an Arizer Air afterwards and WOW just a completely different machine which is just a bit bigger and more expensive. Worth it I think and I’d recommend buying a better vape for first timers.
Bought this 1 but tbh was a mistake I bought the Mighty vaporizer after and then just gave the cfc 2 a friend bcuz I only use the mighty now. Way way better vape million times better. Also alot more expensive but worth the money if u have it.
Simple to use, beginner friendly, works just fine. I don’t think the vapor quality is anything exceptional but who am I to judge. I think this is a really solid unit given the size and price. I take it to the movies once in a while and that gets me surprisingly stoned off just half a chamber.
I think it’s a solid vaporizer and it was my first one ever, though now I have several. I think the portable size and performance is very good for what it is, however I would certainly make a few changes. I think making it a little bigger and having a removable battery would by far be the biggest improvement. For beginners I’d rather suggest the Arizer Air vaporizer. In my eyes its much better, way more vapor quality, removable battery, and nicer build materials. The CFC is a good vape but not quite as good as others.
I wanted to get a vape that’s really portable and small when I can’t take out my mighty vape. I guess coming from a mighty the vapor quality is a bit disappointed, but that’s to be expected I think considering the mighty is something like 4 times more expensive.
With that in mind, I really like taking the CFC 2.0 out and about to the movies or when discretion is a little bit more important. If you’re okay with lesser vapor quality in exchange for a very portable unit then you’ll be quite glad.
Pack it thick and use a grinder!! I was just throwing whole buds in there but as soon as I got a grinder the whole thing got way way better. I just grind up my nugs now n pack the chamber big, put it on 420 degrees, let it heat up extra then take the biggest rip! I put uit on my bong with the water adapter and it slaps really hard great vape would buy again.
