Is the CCell Palm Pro worth it?

The recently released CCell Palm Pro is starting to get a lot of popularity thanks to its incredible upgrades over its predecessor, the CCell Palm.

As an avid cartridge vaper, I was thrilled to test out its voltage and airflow control, and let me tell you that it exceeded my expectations!

CCell Palm Pro Build Quality

The new matte finish gives it a sophisticated look, making it a standout among other 510-thread batteries. In the kit, you’ll get the CCell Palm itself, a USB-C charging cable, two 510 magnetic adapters, and an owner’s manual.

• It’s got a nice weight to it and the metal body feels solid in the hand, coming in at 2.6in x 1.65in x 0.53in.

I’m not too experienced in magnetic 510 vape batteries, but I was surprised by how well it held the cartridge in, as you need a pretty strong tug to get your cart out.

If you haven’t used a 510 Magnetic Adapter before, you just thread it onto the bottom of your Vape Cartridge, then drop it into the holding slot of the Palm Pro. The fact that you get a 180-day warranty is just the cream on top of this well-built vape battery by CCell.

Strong 510 Thread Battery Life

The 500mAh of juice on the Palm Pro will be able to last you more than a day’s worth of heavy usage.

Another one of the most noteworthy upgrades between the Palm and Palm Pro is the new USB-C charging, it’s just so much more reasonable than Micro-USB.

Additionally, there’s a new battery indicator light so that you’re aware of how much charge you have left.

With one fast press of the power button, you’ll be able to check your battery percentage level, with each of the lights standing for 0-40% / 40-70% / 70-100%

With older 510 batteries, it was a guessing game as to how much charge you had left, and you always ran the risk of running out of juice on the go.

Voltage Control

One significant enhancement in the CCell Palm Pro is the introduction of adjustable voltage settings, unlike the old model which only had one fixed voltage option.

The Palm Pro offers three voltage levels to let you change how your cart performs whether that be for more flavor or bigger clouds.

By pressing and holding the power button, you’ll be able to cycle through the three voltages of 2.8V, 3.2V, and 3.6V

Adjustable Airflow Dial

Just below where your cartridge sits, you’ll also have an airflow dial which will let you control how harsh you want your vapor to be.

For example, hitting the Palm Pro on 3.6V with the airflow dial closed might be good for heavy users that want hot and thick white clouds, whereas other people might prefer the first voltage with wide open airflow so they can get more terpenes from their cartridges.

Tips and Tricks

• Hold on to the warranty card included in the kit to make sure you can file a claim if anything breaks down
• You can use 0.5mL cartridges, but the mouthpiece will be lower down
• If you’re a heavy user, consider picking up a Vape Case for more portability
• Two clicks of the power button will start a 10-second pre-heat to help melt down thick oils before you start your session, or gently remove the clog from a cart
