How to use the Utillian 5?
Operating the Utillian 5 wax pen is a no-brainer. To turn the device on, you just click the power button 5 times, which is standard for wax pens. Once the unit is on, 2 clicks will enable you to toggle through the 4 different temperature settings. The four voltage settings will get hotter and have more vapor as you go higher: 2.2V, 2.4V, 2.6V, and 2.8V. These will be indicated by the number of lights on the vape. One thing that stood out to us about the Utillian 5 is how easy it was to load concentrates into the chamber. While other wax pens have coils that are deep down inside of the atomizer, this is not the case with the Utillian 5’s large coils. This design allows you to quickly load your waxy concentrates into the Utillian 5 without the hassle that other wax pens present.
Because of the simple design, loading concentrates into the oven is as easy as sliding the top cap off. Because the coils are some of the largest on the market, loading the chamber is much easier than smaller competitors. This doubles down for cleaning and maintenance of the pen.
Utillian 5 Wax Pen Temperature Settings:
The Utillian 5 wax pen kit has 4 different preset temperature settings between 2.2v and 2.8v. At the 2.2v setting, you’ll get light draws but still enjoy some great flavor. At the highest setting, you might find that your wax is used up a little too quickly. If you’re like us, you prefer your vape hits to be somewhere in between lung-busting and light and wispy. For this reason, we recommend going with the medium settings of either 2.4v or 2.6v.
Utillian 5 Vapor Quality:
The vapor quality and production on the Utillian 5 among the best you’ll find as far as wax pens go. Even at the highest setting, vape rips are tasty and flavorful. If you’re sensitive to big rips, we recommend staying away from the highest setting though. The atomizer on Utillian 5 features two coils made from black ceramic and are used for two different purposes. The black ceramic and titanium coils will be the one that you’ll use if you love the real thick, milky hits and prefer your vape clouds to be as large as possible. The other atomizer is made from black ceramic and kanthal and is perfect for sipping vape rips at low temperatures. The great thing about the Utillian 5 is the overall vapor extraction you’ll get out of your wax no matter what voltage setting you use. In combination with the coil choice, any kind of session big or small will be enjoyable.
Utillian 5 Bubbler
We’ve heard it time and time again, “the bubbler changes the game”. The Utillian 5 is a powerhouse for vaporization and adding the Utillian 5 Glass Bubbler gives you the chance to get the most out of that power. You don’t always hear of a bubbler specific to a wax pen, so the capacity of this accessory is what really sets it apart from other dab pens. If you want to achieve a smoother experience at higher temperatures, definitely consider picking up the bubbler accessory!
Utillian 5 Battery Life:
This device has a 1050mAh battery that lasts a solid 45 minutes of continuous usage. For most wax pen users, this translates into a few days of sessions. If you’re looking for one of the biggest batteries for wax pens available, we might recommend a desktop E-RIG like a Dr. Dabber Switch E-Rig. One knock on this device that we have heard from vaporizer enthusiasts is that the Utillian 5 Wax Pen doesn’t have any kind of battery life indicator. This can be frustrating to not know how much battery life is left, especially if you’re on the go and your USB charging equipment is at home.
Utillian 5 Review: Aesthetics and Manufacturing Quality
Just looking at the Utillian 5 Wax Pen, you can tell it was designed with durability and longevity in mind, especially for its affordable price tag. The stainless steel finish on the Utillian 5 is attractive and means that there’s a good chance it will last a lifetime. The splashguard on the atomizer of the Utillian 5 is also a nice touch, which ensures that hot wax doesn’t burn your tongue if it splashes up during a huge rip. With the included adjustable airflow feature underneath the mouthpiece allows users to control draw resistance to their unique preference. Increased airflow will mean cooler but less potent hits, and decreased will mean huge clouds.
Utillian Wax Pen 5 Portability
The Utillian 5 isn’t the most portable or discreet wax pen you can buy on the market today. However, if you’re the type of vaporizer enthusiast who prefers lung-filling heavy hits, portability might not be the biggest issue to you. We really haven’t seen anyone have any trouble fitting the Utillian 5 pen into their pockets, even though there are much more compact wax pens on the market today.
Also, due to the design of the Utillian 5 pen, it looks more like a traditional e-juice vaporizer than it does your typical vape for use with concentrates. For this reason, you might find taking delicious waxy rips off of this device can tend to fly under the radar. If you’re in the market for a wax pen that is portable and discreet, we recommend checking out something like a Pulsar APX WAX Pen.
How to clean the Utillian 5?
As previously mentioned, the Utillian 5 features large coils that don’t sit deep down inside of the atomizer like most other wax pens, which lets you pack the unit with ease. This also lets you clean the device fairly easily, because you’re not digging down to scrape out that hard to reach wax. You might need to take a cotton swab soaked in alcohol to the mouthpiece every now and then to make sure you keep it free from bacteria.
Summary and Comparison
The Utillian 5 wax pen is super affordable, especially when you compare it to other wax rigs on the market today. Despite this, you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck based on its vapor quality and production and its rugged durability. There are wax pens that are more discreet and ones that have a larger battery, but the Utillian 5 is perfect middle-ground pen to enjoy at home or on the go. In combination with its glass bubbler accessory, the vapor quality will blow you away.

Is this worth the money?
This is my first ever wax vaporizer so I have no frame of reference to compare it to BUT I think it’s really good. I have a nice Lemon Skunk Diesel rosin that was pressed by some buddies and that flavor that I get from this device and the wax is top shelf! Really enjoy it and the device is simple to use. I prefer using the single big atomizer but don’t really know the differences yet.
Didn’t know how to clean the Utillian 5 vape but I searched Reddit and found out that u can just soak all the metal pieces (NOT THE BATTERY!) in iso alcohol and let it sit for about 15 minutes. This is rly important because I like to do big dabs but they really hit me way too hard and I get super zooked. Cleaning becomes a mess and then my device started to taste bad so I had to clean it.
Pretty great! I’ve had a myriad of cheap wax vapes and decided to invest a little bit in a better vape. The difference is pretty huge! The temperature control and different atomizer choices are a real luxury in comparison and it just feels a lot more elegant and nice in the hand compared to other units.
I like the triple coil atomizer I seem to get better flavor out of it and it’s easier to load wax onto. I found I got bigger this but worse flavor from the single coil atty so I don’t really use it its just kind of my backup atty at this point. Fast shipping good price im pretty happy just wish I had a better storage container.
My first experience was hilarious because I didn’t know how to load a wax vaporizer and just ended up getting wax literally everywhere (new user). Turns out you should warm up the coils before using it to help the wax melt on it! Definitely would recommend that for the future lol
I’m a medical cannabis patient and decided to go for wax concentrates for the convenience factor. It’s very small and the battery life keeps up with my usage very well. I prefer the triple coil atomizer but I found the single coil one to be quite good too. I will concede I’m not all too familiar with competing devices and thus I cannot say if it is better and/or worse but it feels very nice to use and I’m quite satisfied overall!
Dabs fat on my dab rig no more torch n banger 4 me this is super ez to use.
Certainly higher quality than some of the really CHEAP wax pens I’ve used out there. The temperature control is a really nice feature and makes a huge difference in the hits you get out of it. In my eyes it’s sleek, elegant, and straightforward. Would recommend 9/10.
A++++ shipping speed haven’t tried vape yet will update review once I test it out.
