How it Works and Ease of Use
The Fury Edge dry herb vaporizer has three buttons – the power button and the two temperature up/ down buttons. This portable vaporizer vibrates when it’s heated up and will automatically set to the last temperature you were at. This vaporizer has a countdown timer that starts as soon as your session does. This feature is nice for preserving both battery life and your precious material. It is also a solid feature for newbies that are just learning how to vape weed.
Fury Edge Temperature Settings
The Fury Edge by healthy rips has precision temperature controls with a range of 160°C – 221°C (320°F – 430°F). We recommend the lower settings with this dry herb vape, right around 185°C/365°F. If you go much higher than that, you might get some harshness on the throat when vaping with the glass stem. However, we went up to 200°C/392°F with a water piece and as long as we kept the draws slow and long, there wasn’t much harshness.
It’s not the best portable vape when it comes to temperature settings, but it gets the job done and is solid for its price. Although this is a dry herb vaporizer, you do have the option of either vaping weed or concentrates. You do get a concentrate pad with the Fury Edge from Healthy rips, but it is not really a concentrate device. Heating System and Chamber Size
The Fury Edge dry herb vaporizer from Healthy Rips uses hybrid heating that is convection dominant. This powerful little vaporizer features a stainless steel vapor path and can fit up to .2 grams in the chamber. The chamber is stainless steel as well, and the airway is made from glass that produces some solid vapor. This vaporizer has a fast heat-up time of 20 seconds or so, depending on your temperature.
Fury Edge Vapor Quality
The vapor quality on this dry herb vaporizer is really solid, especially when it comes to the first few rips of a session. When you reach the end of a session, you might experience some harshness on the throat – especially with the last few hits. There was no metallic flavor when we tried it and the vapor production was nice as well.
Newbies who are just learning how to vape weed should be made aware of the need to stir the bowl halfway through the session. This will make sure that your herbs are cooked evenly and you get the most extraction and taste the terpenes in your vaping sessions.
Battery Life

Portability and Discreetness
This portable vaporizer is highly discreet and compact, measuring only two inches high and one inch wide. The Fury Edge weighs only 5.6 ounces. Obviously, this is a highly discreet and compact vaporizer, fitting nicely in the palm of any hand. There isn’t too much odor from rips on the lower settings. Couple that with the fact that it is easily palmed and concealed, and you probably won’t draw any attention to yourself with this herbal vaporizer.

The Fury Edge from Healthy Rips comes with a nice kit of accessories. In addition to the vaporizer itself, you get a protective odor cover, a glass mouthpiece, an attachment to use with glass pipes, a glass mouthpiece to use with said attachments, a charger that plugs into the wall, a USB-C charge cord, a concentrate pad made from stainless steel, extra screens and O-Rings, a tool and a brush for cleaning, a set of tweezers and the owner’s manual. How to Clean
If you know how to vape weed, you know that your dry herb vaporizer needs to be cleaned after every session or two. Just take some cotton swabs to the mouthpiece and the attachments, and use the cleaning brush on the bowl. You will want to soak the mouthpiece and the attachments in some alcohol for about five minutes after every few sessions as well.

Bottom Line
The Fury Edge from Healthy Rips is an affordable dry herb vaporizer that has a lot of strengths and won’t break the bank. Also doesn’t have the feel of one of those cheap vapes. A vape that is similar to this one is the POTV 1, because of its internal battery and similar shape with some decent vapor production.
The Edge is a great beginner mid-range herb vape and comparable to the Utillian 620. While they’re not as good as high-end vaporizers, they certainly hit well and are very portable! At the end of the day, it’s extremely similar, just like the DabTech Duvo X is to The Core 2.1 – There are just minor changes.
