Utillian 723: An Efficient and Consistent Vaporizer
From my experience, the Utillian 723 vaporizer is one of the most efficient and consistent dry herb vaporizers available. It features a durable build with an improved zirconia mouthpiece, providing a reliable convection vaporization process while each use produces exceptional and consistent vapor. It’s a pleasure to use both at home and on the go.
Despite being packed with features, the Utillian 723 has a simple one-button design. This makes it very easy to use, whether you’re a vaping expert or a beginner. I truly feel it’s one of the best portable dry herb vaporizers on the market.
While opinions on Utillian vaporizers can vary, many users appreciate this line for its quality and performance. Let’s explore the Utillian 723 further to understand why it has become a fan-favorite for so many vaping enthusiasts.
Vapor Quality: Consistent, High Performance
One of my favorite parts about the Utillian 723 is the vapor this device produces. Engineered in Germany with North American user experience in mind, the U723 is a high performing vaporizer that provides exceptional airflow and consistent vapor.
When I review vapor quality, I focus on the airflow, vapor flavor, and cloud production of the vaporizer.
Airflow
The Utillian 723 delivers exceptional airflow with smooth draws thanks to its robust and spacious isolated airpath. An isolated airpath means the air pulled into the vaporizer is isolated from the electrical parts that produce heat, keeping the air pure. The airflow port is at the bottom of the vape, opposite to the USB-C charging port.
This open isolated airpath allows for richer and hearty vapor clouds and is one of my favorite parts of the Utillian 723 vape experience. For the most part, the airflow is on par with a lot of high-end convection vaporizers, and you simply can’t go wrong as the Utillian 723 nails it.
Vape Hack: For added resistance, block the airflow port with your thumb (sporadically) and puff it like a cigar to get the oven really cooking.
The Utillian 723 is also great at blocking ground cannabis particles from entering your mouth. Other vaporizers like the Arizer Solo 3 and Utillian 621 have great airflow as well, but fine ground tends to be inhaled into the mouthpiece, and eventually your mouth.
Vapor Flavor
Admittedly, the vapor flavor on the Utillian 723 is ok. It’s not the worst, but it’s not the best, and it’s certainly better than the average conduction vaporizer. While above average in flavor, two dry herb vaporizers with better vapor flavor are the Dynavap M Plus and Airvape Legacy Pro.
Vape Hack: Remember your strain plays a huge role in flavor. Try a strain like Pineapple Express.
The zirconia mouthpiece (upgraded from plastic) is a notable feature that keeps the cloud flavor and vapor quality pure vs the previous Utillian 722. It’s more like a nice, gourmand burnt popcorn flavor, that’s locally grown… with the right PH levels in the soil (I’m just yapping).
Although the burnt popcorn flavor is rather mid, Utillian is serious about producing consistent vapor. Credit is due to the Utillian engineers, as the 723 produces some serious clouds that get you super high.
Cloud production
When I say this vaporizer produces consistent clouds, I mean the Utillian 723 is… the king of consistent vapor. No matter what temperature setting you choose, even the Green temperature (lowest temp) the U723 vaporizer delivers smooth, dense, and hearty clouds for a satiating high.
The clouds really start to cook in the two middle temperatures of Blue 190°C (374°F) and Purple 200°C (392°F), which is where I spend most of my time when I use this vaporizer.
Where the slightly above average burnt popcorn taste comes in full swing, the clouds produced at the Blue and Purple settings start swinging even harder. Combine that with the isolated airpath for exceptional airflow, you’re pumping out clouds like you’re a Volcano.
The best way to finish your session is with Boost Mode at 225°C (437°F) while at the Purple or Red temperatures. Fully extract the rest of your cannabis making sure no herb goes to waste.
Now you’re cooked.
Vape Hack: Remember to clean your vaporizer regularly to maintain healthy cloud production. Use the bristle cleaning brush for quick maintenance inside the mouthpiece and on the screen.
Convection Heating System: Convenient & Efficient
The 723’s convection oven has a fast heat-up time of under 30 seconds. Convection heating means the device produces hot air, passing it through and vaporizing cannabis while making no direct contact with it.
Convection vaporizers are great at evenly distributing heat with smooth and flavorful vapor. This uses more battery power, but convection vaporizers are more popular, and considered “better” than conduction vaporizers.
It has four pre-set temperatures with a temperature range of 180°C (356°F) to 225°C (437°F) on Boost Mode. These temperature settings are pre-set temperatures that make sessions easy to start with minimum effort.
No Precise Temperature? No Problem!
Precise temperature control means the user can choose the exact temperature by degree. Some prefer precise temperatures to reach lower temperatures for flavor, but it is not necessary to control the exact temperature.
For example, the Venty vaporizer allows precise temperatures as low as 40°C (104°F). However, vapor is not produced at temperatures this low, so it’s not relevant to the vaping experience.
Alternatively, the 723’s four pre-set temperatures offer a good range that takes the thinking out of your session and simply helps you get high.
Remember, this thing has super consistent cloud production.
Feature-Packed Vaporizer: Great Value for Money
To summarize the Utillian 723: it’s a high-performing vaporizer at a fair price, producing comparable vapor quality to other high-end portable vaporizers. At a lower price point, the U723 still competes with the big boys:
- Utillian 723
- Arizer Solo 3
- Airvape Legacy Pro
- Venty vaporizer
- Zeus ARC GT3 (conduction vaporizer with hub)
Utillian 722 vs 723: Same Vape, New Phone (Who Dis?)
The previous Utillian 722 model was a really popular vape. It had a ton of great features that Utillian kept on the 723:
- Convection heating
- Isolated airpath
- 2300mah battery
- One-button operation
- Four pre-set temperatures + Boost Mode
- Color-coded LEDs
- Automatic shut-off timer
- Big 0.3g chamber capacity
The Utillian 723 made a few key upgrades improving the overall vaping experience:
- Zirconia mouthpiece (upgraded from plastic)
- USB-C charging (upgraded from Micro-USB)
- Includes a 2-year warranty (upgraded from a 1-year warranty)
Premium Vape with Easy Controls
In addition to its cloud production, another key strength of the Utillian 723 is its easy one-button controls that are very easy to learn.
Here are the three one-button commands on the Utillian 723:
- Click button 5 times fast to turn on and off
- Click button twice fast to change temperature
- Hold button for 3 seconds to activate Boost Mode
Simple, Colorful & Easy User Interface
When selecting your temperature, the U723 features four (4) pre-set temperature settings + Boost Mode, indicated by color-coded LED lights:
- 180°C (356°F) is Green
- 190°C (374°F) is Blue
- 200°C (392°F) is Purple
- 210°C (410°F) is Red
Hold the power button for a few seconds to activate Boost Mode.
- 225°C (437°F) is Boost Mode or Blinking Red
Great Battery Life with USB-C charging
The battery life on the Utillian 723 is solid. With a 2300mah battery, the U723 battery life will last roughly 6-8 sessions, or 60 minutes of continuous usage on a full charge. The battery takes 90 minutes to fully charge from 0 to 100. The light on the bottom shows the battery life: green is full, red is low.
The U723 also features an automatic shut-off timer after 7 minutes, preserving battery life and preventing the vaporizer from overheating.
Though it’s not the best battery life in the market, which goes to the Arizer Solo 3, the Utillian 723 battery life is good enough, and if you are a light user, you can push the battery life to a few days worth of sessions.
The Utillian 723 now features USB-C charging; a much needed upgrade from the U722 model.
Lightweight and Portable Vaporizer
The Utillian 723 is a super portable vaporizer. Weighing in at 135g, it’s one of the lightest convection vaporizers in its class.
Vape Hack: Grab a Cannabis Storage Keychain to bring your doses with you, and pair it with an XMAX V3 Pro Dosing Capsule Set to organize and prepare your doses.
There are two main aspects that make the U723 discreet: the mouthpiece, and housing.
Utillian 723 Mouthpiece
The zirconia mouthpiece swivels on the Utillian 723 magnetic cap, allowing you to pull it out when you’re ready to vape, and to tuck it away to stash in your pocket.
The U723 mouthpiece has an edge over the Arizer Air MAX, another highly portable convection vaporizer that uses Glass Aroma Tube mouthpieces. The aroma tube is removed from the vaporizer and stashed in a PVC Travel Tube for safe traveling, otherwise it would shatter and need to be replaced (there’s several parts just to travel).
The Arizer Air MAX is a great vaporizer, but the Utillian 723 portability wins thanks to its swiveling mouthpiece design.
Utillian 723 Housing
The 723 has a sleek design that is more subtle than flashy; available colors in gunmetal (aluminum finished) or black (silicone finished). The colored LED light on the top is the only thing that may bring attention to it, but you can easily cover it with your finger tips.
It’s more discreet than not, and it’s certainly not a statement-maker, although its massive clouds will make a statement behind the veil.
Vape Hack: Exhale into a SmokeBuddy odor destroyer to hide your clouds and keep yourself REALLY lowkey.
Another Plus: It’s An Easy Vape to Clean
For a quick clean up, clean the inside of the mouthpiece, chamber and screen using an iso-soaked cotton swab or the cleaning bristle brush in the box. You can grab some extra brushes in our Vaporizer Maintenance Kit.
Vape Hack: If the cleaning brush gets dirty, soak it in isopropyl for 20 minutes.
For a deep clean, disassemble the magnetic cap by removing the red silicone o-ring, the screen, and the zirconia mouthpiece. Use an iso-soaked cotton swab to carefully clean the inside of the magnetic cap. Leave the red o-ring aside, as iso will destroy it.
Soak the screen and zirconia mouthpiece in an iso-based cleaning solution like Orange Chronic Cleaner for 10-20 minutes. Remember the zirconia mouthpiece has a silicone ring, so do NOT soak for 20 minutes.
Utillian 723 Replacement Parts
Eventually, there comes a point with enough use that your vaporizer will need replacement parts. Utillian 723 replacement parts are limited, but that makes it more straightforward to maintain.
The Utillian 723 Care Package comes with replacement screens (x5) and silicone o-rings (x2 for screen, x2 for mouthpiece). I admit, my feedback for Utillian is to include more o-rings in the care package as the o-rings wear down more often than the screens.
The Utillian 723 Magnetic Cap & Mouthpiece includes the entire mouthpiece top with zirconia mouthpiece. It’s handy to have a second one to swap out when your first one is being cleaned.
Utillian 723 Accessories: Limited Options, Get Creative
Regrettably, the Utillian 723 does lack accessories compared to most vaporizers. It’s the only Utillian vaporizer that is NOT compatible with the Utillian Glass Bubbler, which is a shame.
Although that does not stop us. We search elsewhere to MacGyver our add-ons. This is what we found below.
Zeus Iceborn
The Zeus Iceborn has silicone whip tubing that attaches to the zirconia mouthpiece. The Iceborn is especially nice as it chills the entire vapor path with freezing-cold ice, delivering frosty and smooth vapor. Very cool. (If ya know what I mean!)
Vape Hack: Lift the U723 off the table to unblock the airflow port while using one of these whips.
Arizer XQ2 Whip
Attach an Arizer XQ2 whip to the zirconia mouthpiece to significantly extend the vapor path on the Utillian 723. The Arizer XQ2 3ft Whip is a great length. You need to remove the Elbow Adapter from the silicone whip, and attach the silicone whip to the mouthpiece.
Portable Vaporizer Case
You can bring your Utillian 723 and your vaping accessories with you with a Portable Vaporizer Case for when you’re on the go. For at home, keep your vaping gear in one place using a Smell Proof Lockable Storage Case or a Silverton Stashlogix case.
Dry Herb and Concentrate Vaporizer: Oh yeah, it does both.
Another cool Utillian 723 feature is its dual function compatibility with concentrates. While it’s designed for dry herb, the Utillian 723 Wax Canister allows you to use your favorite concentrates like live resin or hash with your Utillian 723.
While electric dab rigs reach much higher temperatures, enjoy your concentrates on the Green low-temperature setting, carefully extracting the terpenes from your wax. Finish it with huge dab clouds on the Red high-temperature setting.
Support and warranty
The Utillian 723 warranty is solid, as it comes with a 2-year warranty from the Utillian manufacturer. This is an extra year versus its previous 722 model, which only had a 1-year warranty.

U723 Tips & Tricks
- For more discreteness, wear a long-sleeve shirt or sweater and slide it into your sleeve while you are vaping.
- The Blue temperature setting 190°C (374°F) is the best, set-and-forget temperature setting.
- Upgrade the Arizer XQ2 Whip with a 14mm Globe Whip Bubbler (you need the Arizer Whip tubing as the tubing is wide enough to fit over the zirconia mouthpiece).
- For a longer Arizer XQ2 Whip, grab an Arizer XQ2 9ft Whip Tubing (Arizer XQ2 Glass Whip Mouthpiece sold separately) and install it on the zirconia mouthpiece.
- To empty your chamber fast, remove the cap and dump the baked weed upside down on your palm, and scatter the weed onto the ground (ABV is discarded).
- Alternatively, save your ABV (already been vaped) weed and turn it into cannabis butter.

Though Utillian dry herb vaporizers don’t tend to have the best flavor, it’s still a great vaporizer in every other aspect as it’s so practical and efficient at getting you high.
So who’s the Utillian 723 best for? If you want to get high, this one’s for you.
If you’re a smoker that’s new to vaping and you want a high-performing vaporizer, the Utillian 723 is a great first choice. The 723’s big chamber, great airflow, and user-friendly design simplifies your session, helping you dive into getting high right away.
Passionate vape users who are all about customizing their vapes may not appreciate the simplicity of the Utillian 723. That’s totally cool. You might find the Arizer Solo 3 or Venty vaporizer by Storz & Bickel more interesting. Check out our reviews on those vaporizers too!
